Access and purpose

The studio helps identify relevant source videos, prepare captioned excerpts and manage authorised YouTube uploads. The processing software runs on the operator's server. It has no public registration or subscription service. Access to the private studio requires the operator's permission.

Setup and validation are in progress. Availability, successful processing and uninterrupted automatic publication are not guaranteed. Google authorisation, source availability, technical checks and platform restrictions may require attention.

Content and account permissions

Use only accounts and channels you control or are authorised to manage. Process or publish media only when you have the necessary rights and permissions, including permission to use the relevant source and any applicable platform permission. Public availability, a source link or an automated quality score does not grant a reuse licence.

The operator is responsible for the content selected, its context, captions, titles, attribution and destination settings. Do not use the application to infringe others' rights, misrepresent a speaker, impersonate someone, evade access restrictions or violate applicable law or platform rules.

YouTube and Google services

YTClip uses YouTube API Services. By using YTClip, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. The application's data handling is explained in the YTClip Privacy Policy.

YTClip is an independent project and is not endorsed by Google or YouTube. YouTube controls its account permissions, upload processing, quotas and visibility restrictions. A successful upload does not guarantee public availability or eligibility for monetisation.

Publishing and operator controls

Publishing requires an authorised destination account, an enabled publishing setting and the application's release checks. Uploads start privately before a permitted change to public visibility. The operator can pause processing or disable future publishing.

The studio's Unpublish action changes an uploaded video's visibility to private. It does not delete the video or undo copies already obtained by others. The channel owner can manage or delete YouTube videos directly in YouTube Studio. Google authorisation can be revoked through Google Account connections.

Generated output

Speech recognition and language-model suggestions can be inaccurate or omit context. Technical checks examine selected properties of a rendered file; they do not certify truth, content rights or editorial quality. Local model inference does not train or fine-tune a model on the processed content.

Review output and settings to the extent needed for the intended use. The operator may stop or change a workflow when a check fails, source access changes or a platform requires additional approval.
